This has to be one of my least favourite novels by Nicholas Sparks. I was disappointed in the very, very slow beginning and the fact that the story itself was, for lack of a better word: choppy. The novel reached it's peak close to the end of the novel which I was disappointed in because most of his novels have me hooked right at the beginning. Not one of his best. I am a huge fan and was disappointed. I cried of course in the end, because it was a Nicholas Sparks book, but he has way better ones.
