True Believer by Nicholas Sparks is a story about a journalist who makes his way down to a small town called Boone Creek in North Carolina. There he meets a local named Doris who tells him about lights in a cemetary that everyone thinks are ghosts. Intrigued by the story Jeremy Marsh investigates the local legend. He then meets a local witty librarian and learns she is not the classical southern belle she seems. Together they become closer and closer. They have their up and downs. It is amazing

I've read several Nick Sparks book but this is the first time I have to say it wasn't so great. The story was nice enough but I found it dull. There was nothing that left me itching to pick it back up.
