Definitely a mistake to finish this book on the train when I was commuting to work this morning - Sparks hit you and the end with the tragedy you just knew was coming if you've ever read anything by him before. I was hysterical crying! It was sad, sweet and definitely made me think about the amount of love in my life, but it was a typical, predictable Sparks book. ...more

I loved this book! There is a romantic essence in the writing. What does it mean to fall in love for the first time? It doesn't just have to mean when you fall in love with a romantic partner but when you fall in love with a house, your child, anything?
