This was an excellent book.. I really could not put it down.. I read it in one sitting. I became interested in the characters from the begining and the character of Kevin I hated more then any other character I have read about in a very long time..

I really like Nickolas Sparks books, however, this story is told so many times. Woman is beaten by her crazy husband, she overcomes it and runs away, and falls made in love with a better man while finding herself. We all have seen "Sleeping with the Enemy". I'm not trying to say I hated the book. I did enjoy it, but it was very predictable. I like a little bit of a mystery that Sparks' books usually contain. This one, however, not so much.
