It was a good read. I liked Penryn and how strong she was even if she was flawed and vulnerable at times ;) Raffe, on the other hand, I have mixed feelings about him. I must say though that I liked him better towards the end of the book.
Talking about the ending, it was quite interesting with all the things that happened. It certainly made me want to read book 2 of the series, World After.
