‘What We Saw’ is an incredibly powerful book. It is one of those novels that makes you really think about its message, but still manages to avoid being preachy. And it does this, while telling you an interesting story. Hartzler, you genius.

This book is just so important. I can't stress that enough. Aaron did a fantastic job at writing about such a horrible topic (rape) and really brought to light the harsh realities that victims who come forward may face. My full review can be found at Gabriella M Reads.
