Oh my gosh this book was amazing! I stayed up super late last night finishing it because I could not put it down! I was literally screaming at the book because I was so frustrated and nervous about what was going to happen. SO MANY CLACE FEELS!! Can't believe I'm almost finished with the series...

I've been rereading this since July, and after binging 200 pages last night, I'm glad to say that it kept me interested enough to leave the reading at 4 stars. HOWEVER: unlike book 4, which made one jump forward from 3 to 4 stars, I can't say I enjoyed this one more, though not less either. It could certainly be a bit shorter, and the pacing could be brought up a bit. This is one of the only Shadowhunter books that doesn't stand out to me as higher or lower on the spectrum, but I'm glad I pushed ...more
