city of bones is the first book of " the mortal intruments " this book start directly in action wich make the world building of this book is a bit hard to imagine but with the events that keeps happening will get intrested in the story so you cant get bored with the book.
lets talk about charcters : i really like alec and simon ( even some say he is annoying but i found him a funny guy ) and magnus oh boy !! i LOVE magnus even tho he makes a small appearnce in the book but i loved him right away ...more

This is a great teen book to read. It's all about shadow hunters who kill demons and it has vampire, werewolves, faeries, warlocks e.t.c but it isn't cliché. I've almost completed the whole collection-only one more book to go! There's also other books like The Shadow Hunter's Codex, The Bane Chronicles (It's all about the main warlock of the book, Magnus Bane) and The Infernal Devices.
