A beautifully constructed story exploring the impact of an unwanted marriage on Darcy and Elizabeth. The anger and distress that they both feel is perfectly crafted as is the development of mutual trust.
2nd reading (10/23) - I think I enjoyed this even more on the second reading, The author has written this in such a way that the reader walks every painful step with Darcy and Elizabeth.
I think this is one of the best depictions of a pre-Hunsford Darcy.
Absolutely fantastic.

3/3/2021 update- Just finished this for the second time, this time as an audiobook and really enjoyed it! I enjoyed it more because the narrator, Harry Frost, is excellent and his narration makes every book better! My thoughts are the same as my previous review- I give it a solid 4 stars this time around!
