A beautiful poignant and romantic book. The plot is well constructed and the characters are endearing and recognisable.

4.5 rounded up to 5. I really loved this book as I have all of Elizabeth Adam's books! We get to enjoy not one, but two beautiful love stories. This author accomplishes the impossible by making us not only be okay with, but fall in love with the idea of Elizabeth with marrying someone other than Darcy without being coerced or forced into it or without finding this non-canon interloper to be a villain or despicable creature.
