This is quite a long story with many different elements at play. Characters both living and dead. Circumstances for the Bennet daughters are much different as Mrs Bennet dies in childbirth before our story begins altering not only the upbringing of the girls but others perception of them. I listened to the audiobook while I was out walking & I have to say that an event is announced about half way through the book via a letter from Anne deB that had me laughing so hard that I’m sure people though ...more

DNF. Good plot, but too wordy for me compared to some of her other books which are really excellent.

An okay story

It was okay, had some entertaining moments and definitely some funny parts too! But towards the end, I was itching to get the story over with.
