Figuring out how to retell Elizabeth Gaskell's NORTH & SOUTH wasn't easy, but hopefully worth it in the end!

It’s well written and all, but I thought the interactions between Jay and Maggie were somehow not long or not intense enough. I never managed to get completely into the story. Still, a courageous attempt at creating something original and new while keeping some of North and South’s plot twists.
