This was a sweet journey for our couple to find their HEA. It begins a year after the Hunsford proposal and Darcy learns upon hearing of some changes to the circumstances of Elizabeth and her family that he still cares very deeply for Elizabeth. He is concerned about her but doesn't know where she is or what situation she is in.

2024: re-read - I loved it once again.
2023: 4.5 stars. I’m not sure why I dnf’d it the first time, probably because it’s a bit too wordy. Apart from that, it’s well written, reasonably plausible, and the plot is excellent.
