It took me exactly one month, and would have taken way less time if I hadn't put the book down towards the end in fear of not wanting it to be over. but to me, this book was one of the greatest stories I've ever read. The Dark Tower series being THE best story ever, and The Talisman ranking up extremely high, this book has a spot amongst those great pieces of fiction. This book was great. I loved reading about the years between 58-63. Such a great time to reflect on how things were different. King never ceases to amaze. I was shocked at how many times he brought a tear to my eye and I'm not an overly emotional person. I'm the kind of man that doesn't really cry. But never the less. An amazing read that makes me want to read some of the books King read in preparation for this novel. ...more

I have yet to read a book written by Mr King that I haven't enjoyed spending time with! The time travel element in this novel is a fun departure from the usual creepy stuff we get to wallow in. Read and enjoy! ...more
