I never know what to expect when someone recommends a super hyped-up book to me, but here we are. I'm a bit of a literary romantic, so I'll begin by saying that this is one of those quick reads that doesn't have particularly metaphoric or poetic writing. Admittedly, the only Colleen Hoover book I had read before this was Verity. Which is amazing. Go read Verity right now.
This story is real and raw. It isn’t always pretty but it’s incredibly accurate and the authors note at the end is incredibly important.

This book is a few years old but it recently has gotten a lot of hype of TikTok so I decided to read it. I didn’t know much about the book before reading, and I think it’s best read that way. Ok, so I have some thoughts:
