This book is a very fun retelling of the Trojan War in a Shshi context. The Shshi are intelligent extraterrestrial termites, so don't expect the story to play out exactly the same, there is a lot of creativity on display, in both characterization and event, but the basic outline is there. You might not imagine it, but this story of termite cities locked in "eternal warfare" manages to offer up a story with moments of great humor and deep pathos.
