Books recently about trips to heaven, miracles, and healings had become quite a stir these days. Books and movies about such subjects attract a large audience of both believers and non-believers. Most likely because of the warm fuzzy feeling. It allows our endorphins to run wild giving a euphoric feeling of joy, happiness, and security. We love happy endings and I do as well. Unfortunately, it is not the norm, it seldom happens in real life.
Sometimes we mistakenly believe life is all rainbows and butterflies. God never promised life would be fair, He is also the "God of the storm." Life is like a voyage; sometimes there is smooth sailing, and sometimes there are storms. The only way we can build character is in the storms.
I Will Praise You in the Storm, is not your average book, in fact, I will venture to say you have not yet read a book such as this one. It is not a book reader's flock to read, but it is as real as life will ever get.
It will not be pleasant to read at times, you will laugh, and yes, you will cry, but I hope by the end, you will praise God! It is a story about a "real" family when God says “No. ”
“Read something no one else is reading, think something no one else is thinking, and do something no one else is doing.”
