Mississippi Trial, 1955 written by Chris Crowe is about a sixteen year old Hiram Hillburn who is visiting his grandpa in Greenwood, Mississippi where he once lived before. Hiram meets Emmett Till, a fourteen year old from Chicago. After being in Greenwood for a couple of days he starts to realize how white men treat blacks if they act or say something wrong. Two days later, Hiram finds out that Emmett's body is found dead in the river and he has suspicion about who has killed the black teenager. ...more
