Blood on the River is based in James Town in 1607. It begins with a young peasant who lost his mother. He goes to a pawn shop to which people stole his mothers watch and he breaks in and steals it. He is sent to a orphanage because of it. He is than sent with Reverend Hunt on a journey to the new world to spread religion to the natives, but it turns out that is the least of their worries.
