Halo: Contact Harvest follows a young staff sergeant (future BA in halo games) that is shipped to a planet called Harvest where he is to train a colonial militia to defend against Insurrectionists. But instead of a terrorist attack, Harvest is attacked by a technologically superior, religious alien race known as The Covenant. It is up to the Staff sergeant and his handful of militiamen to defend against The Covenant and save the planet from vaporization.

The point that the author was trying to get across was “If someone or something tries to push you around or tries to kick you out of your home, then they better bring a fight.” I believe this because if someone or something was to come and try to eliminate me I know I would stand and fight and win or go down swinging if it came to that.

I highly recommend this book to Halo fans and beyond because it's an amazing book and it could change your perspective on halo. I'm hoping to read the others as well.
