Wowsers! KU

I’ve heard about this book in book group after group book I am part of... yet I held off reading it since the second book wasn’t out yet. Now that it is, and since it ALSO keeps popping up in my recommendations on kindle, I took the dive. Holy Freaking Smokes!! First, it’s hilarious. Second, it’s complex. Third, I still don’t even know what’s going on!!! 🤩😂 I’m in love.

Pros:
- Rich world building that alludes more than it explains.

A bit confusing in parts but a good start.

I’m hoping it doesn’t lose my interest like the dark side series because it’s a good first book. The mystery got a bit tedious in places but now the story has moved on I’m sure the pace will pick up. My favourite thing was the ghost, she made this book and kept me reading; She’s hilarious! I’m praying Violet finds a way to keep her around.
