Holy awesomeness. How does CM do it time and time again?! She is a literary goddess. Marine and her boys are back again. They are kicking butt and taking names in this installment. With this being the final year of school before college they all face the normal (using that term loosely) stress of senior year, but of course they manage to pull it off flawlessly. Harpies and Company finally got what they deserved. It was about damn time too! It was crazy the amount of shit they got away with. I guess money can really buy everything.

I really disliked Lizzie and I am so glad she is finally out of the picture. What she did was beyond pathetic. Though I am not sure I believe that Tristan feelings for Marnye are quite as real as he would like us to believe. I mean, up until now, he appeared to be still hung up on Lizzie, author basically portraying her as "th Harpies and Company finally got what they deserved. It was about damn time too! Though I am not sure I believe that Tristan feelings for Marnye are quite as real as he would like us to believe. I mean, up until now, he appeared to be still hung up on Lizzie, author basically portraying her as "the one that got away" and then a complete 180 happened. I would like to think that Tristan's feeling for Marnye are genuine, but unfortunately previous events do not support this very much.

That being said, I am happy that Tristan finally decided to put down his walls and let us see what lies beneath. I really grew to like the boys and I feel like they have earned their redemption. They truly are just soft fluffy marshmallows underneath that cruelty. Or as Marnye put it, kittens in tiger suits which really describes these boys to a T.

I found it a bit weird how Marnye kept on call her her dad Charlie. To me it sounds a bit disrespectful to be honest. I can understand Marnye calling her mother by her first name because she wasn't very involved in her life and she did leave Marnye at a rest stop when she was a child because she wouldn't stop crying. But I couldn't understand why she called her dad by his first name.

It was a bit weird how Marnye mentioned that she could let her boys pay for her school uniform and extracurricular activities. Uhmmm... Don't you have 80K in your bank account? Why even entertain the idea that you could ask one of the boys to cover for you. It makes them sound more like sugar daddies than boyfriends. She did end the statement by saying it makes her sick to even think of having her boys pay for her stuff, so then why even say it? The fact that she did did not sit well with me.

The author is still promoting her other works throughout this book, going as far as Marnye making a comparison to one of the characters whose dad also has cancer and dies. I am not saying that there is something wrong with it, I just find it weird that she would do something like this.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this series overall. Reverse harem is quite an interesting genre and I will definitely be reading more books with this trope in the future. ...more

This was an amazing series! So worth it! I loved this entire series! It Was great I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out! I have obsessed over these characters since the beginning and their growth really shows in this last book! I really hope we get more of these Great characters! #whychoose
