[close] This is definitely a reverse harem. I liked it because of that however, I was not really impressed with the way it was narrated and the story in itself. I thought at first that it had such a nice concept, but it really felt...dull, in the end. No offense to Ms. Cameo Renae's fans.

The story was really great and page-gripping. I loved that there were many guys surrounding Emma, though I might have some issues with;

1. Emma came out a little bratty to me. I understand where she's coming from, but she had just to keep on whining and even when she was in critical, in a lethal way, situations, she had the time to lust after Kade. I mean come on! She might die and "He's so hot!" is mostly what she was thinking about? There might be the "bonding" case but I want her to be a littl The story was really great and page-gripping. 2. Emma also came out so helpless as if she needed someone to pick her up all the time. I hope she will learn how to fight because I was irritated how Emma tugged along in saving Caleb and lose it even before they started. Why did she come along only to be hidden behind a tree? However, I was impressed with her witty remarks and idea on how to proceed at the end. She is a mentally strong character and I'm liking her for it.

3. The guys were also a little inconsistent. I thought at first that Malachi and Alex were the serious and silent type, then suddenly they're joining the others with their betting games. They came out a little pretentious with their boasting to each other.

4. They also act as if they had to fight over Emma's attention. I really LOVE reverse harem stories, but I don't like the idea of them just throwing themselves for her just because she's the only available teenager in town. Or vice versa (only in this case, Emma to Kade). I want to see more in denial and romantic development before they fought over her.

5. Lastly, I can't understand the forbidden love law governing both the Angels and Fallen. They said that whoever broke this law will be punished by death. Is it only in the case of the Fallen to bring out the punishment? I mean, angels are helping each other to aid the Nephilims and their parents, but they still keep on saying that it was forbidden. How come they are still helping them? I know they are angels, but I'm a little bit confused...Someone explain?

I may have a lot of complaints, but I really liked the story. The jokes and the antics between the characters were so funny and they really made sense. Hot guys? Totally love them. I just hope to see them slowly developing feelings for Emma. ...more
