What Members Thought
I was underwhelmed by this book. It reminded me of books like Girl with a Pearl Earring where the author invents a story around the personality of someone or something super famous hoping to go to the bank. This particular story was more poetically phrased than that of Chevalier, but for all that, I was not overwhelmed by either the story or the writing. I mean, it was mildly entertaining, but kind of substance free, if you will.
