Read it il LITERALLY one sitting. Like, I stayed seated in the same spot for 6 hours to read this masterpiece.

4.75 stars! I really loved this book! It was so intriguing - every time I picked it up to read I could not put it down! One Thousand and One Nights was one of my favourite tales growing up and I was not disappointed by this retelling. There were a couple of things in this book that confused me and there was some ambiguity at the end (that's the only reason it's not 5 stars for me.) Can't wait to get my hands on book 2!

I can understand why so many people love this book. I can officially join the club because IT WAS AMAZING AND GLORIOUS.
While I did find a few sections to be a little bland, for the most part the book captured my attention from beginning to end. I'm really glad I finally picked this up! ...more
