This book was awesome! I literally couldn't put it down once I started it, and finished it in one sitting. It's such a unique story, with super believable characters, and a great setting. Shazi was super brave, and full of sass, which I loved. The love story was interesting to read, and everything that was going on in the background made the story about more than romance. OUTSTANDING! I have never read anything like this book! Definitely a new favourite!
This book was FANTASTIC. I was not expecting it to be this good.
I'm kind of torn. I really liked the story but I just couldn't get used to the writing. It didn't captivate me even though the story is totally for me. I'm still interested in the story so that I will continue reading the series

I adore this book. It was just as good as everyone says it is. I LOVE Shazi so much. She is so sassy and resilient and doesn't take any crap from anybody. I am also a huge fan of Khalid. However, I really didn't care for Tariq. The whole last half of the book he just grated my nerves to no end. The story over all was fantastic. I can't wait to read the sequel and see what happens in the wake of the ending of this one! ...more
