This was so close to being a 5 star book but there was something, something missing. But, despite that something missing, it was still a brilliant book and one of my favourites read in quite a while.
Shazi and Khalid were awesome characters, and the romance was quite sweet. It wasn't insta-love at all, and even though he killed her best friend, it was still kind of believable. I also loved the side characters, Jalal and especially Despina, yet not so much Taliq and the others working ...more
