What Members Thought
Jenny Han left it open for a possible third book and I hope to God she writes a third one. I seriously gobbled these two books up they were so freaking adorable and heart warming. And just so many quotes that really spoke to me. Plus the main character is like an extension of me. Sometimes her train of thoughts annoyed the crap out of me, but she is only 16 and I'm pretty sure that's how I thought when I was that age too. And honesty I'm not sure who I shipped. I love how sweet Peter is, even wi

I'm probably in the minority, but I didn't enjoy this. I read the first one in one sitting. I really liked it, but this one felt... unnecessary. If there would have been a little more at the end of the first book it would have been fine on it's own. I feel the same way about The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy. I read it when I was on vacation this summer and felt that the first one was good on it's own and the other two didn't really need to exist. I couldn't stop reading this and I wanted to fi

I love this book. This and To All the Boys I've Loved Before are both so beautifully wonderful I don't think I'll ever get over them.
Lara Jean is such a special main character. I love her family, her personality, her culture, everything about her life. I thought that this duology would just be a typical high school romance series. But no, these books have a lot more to them then just romance. There's strong family and coming-of-age themes within the story that make me love it. There was less Mar ...more

The first two times I read this book I gave it 5 stars. However, this third time I gotta give it 4.
Thank you, Jenny Han! For answering my prayers. I re-read this book so that I could prepared myself for the third one. I gotta admit that the second time around made me cheat on peter and love John even more (I am sorry, Peter). A little piece of my heart maybe wonder what if Lara Jean ends up with him. Even though I knew how it was going to finish I found myself wishing she ended up with John. Do ...more

No. Just no.
This book was great! But the ending? Not my favourite. At the end of 'To All the boys I've loved before' I was all about Peter. Peter was awesome, Peter was goals.
But! And this is a huge BUT! In this novel, Peter was absolutely disappointing. He treated Lara Jean so terribly sometimes that I just wanted to stop reading because I just knew they were going to end up together in the end and I wasn't going to like it.
I was also rooting for John! That boy and Lara Jean should have been ...more

I didn't quite enjoy this one as much as the first one. I was anticipating this book for a long time though I felt my interest dwindling as I read, which is a bit of a problem since these books are supposed to be fun reads. But for some reason, I felt disconnected from the characters and didn't care much what happened. I didn't even ship anyone in this book! It's not a terrible book. I just feel quite disengaged. I think chick-lit contemporaries just aren't for me. The boy troubles and girl ...more

This book was so adorable. I do not really relate to the characters but the story is just adorable and I really like the characters even if I don't relate to them.
