Such a fascinating and misguided time in our American history. Hindsight being what it is, sending orphaned children on a train to Midwest families with little to no knowledge of the families reputations is an appalling idea. The "Orphan Train" interweaves the stories of a couple children's lives from that time with the current life of a girl in the foster system now.
