My rating isn’t so much the content, as this just felt like a jumble of information. It went back and forth between past and present, some of the jumps not even involving the same persons. Had this felt more like a cohesive read it would have been rated higher. Required reading.
I don’t recommend powering through this book in under 24 hours like I did(I have 3 other books checked out and need to move on quickly), but I recommend this highly. Days later I am still thinking about it.
This is the most comprehensive piece of media about the Columbine shooting ever released. I will have this sitting with me for a while, but the mass murders in this country sit on my heart every day.

I think it was a well written account of this tragedy. The author not only focused on the shooters, but the parents, survivors, police, FBI, and the community as well. It also went into the mental health surrounding the tragedy as well
This is hard to read and extremely heartbreaking but I'm so glad I read it. I was truly surprised at a lot of the information in this book... it's a hard read but necessary.
