I heard so much about this book - how it was such a great story. And then... To put it this way - this is the only book I have read on the Chicago World's Fair that managed to make the World's Fair sound boring - and that includes the discussion of the serial killer. The author is a "master storyteller" my butt. This book could be a prescription for insomnia, it was just that dull. ...more
