I loved this book. It's a sad one, though, so keep tissues around if you cry easily. Jan and Antonina ran a zoo in Warsaw before the war. They had a young son in a villa and they woke every day to an ideal life for them. When World War II began, they figured they had to do something to thwart the Nazis.
