Updated review: Finally getting around to reading the rest of the series and it had been so long that I had to re-read this one first. Just as good the second time around. The descriptions are absolutely gorgeous.

I don't know what this says about me but this is the first "adult mystery" that I loved! I found myself excited to wake up early and staying up late to read just to get back to the city of Three Pines and the wonderful people. It felt like... sitting with my grandmother and watching Murder She Wrote. Haha, I understand that might make some people completely uninterested but it was wonderful and cozy and exactly what I needed with a hot cup of tea in the middle of November. ...more
