Hmmm. I enjoyed this but I think there's a few chapters that could've gone and if wouldn't be detrimental to the story as a whole.

Loved most of the 80's references but some stuff was a little too detailed and I had to stop myself from scanning portions of it.

Solid 3.5 stars. May give it a re-read in a few months to see if I change my rating. ...more

A great read. Those who didn't play video games growing up in the 80s and early 90s may not appreciate this book. If you did play video games during that time period, you're going to love it. So much nostalgia, so many references to the oldies and goodies. A fun read :) ...more

SO GOOD. SO DAMN GOOD. Anyone who geeks out for things in the virtual world, give it a read and marvel at the amazing-ness of this book. Wil Wheaton does a super awesome job in the audiobook as well! (CANNOT CONTAIN EXCITEMENT FOR THE MOVIE AAAHHH) ...more
