It’s the year 2044. Wade is born into a world where there are barely any natural resources left and the only escape from reality is the OASIS, a virtual reality world where everything is possible. This is essentially the premise of this book. My husband kept telling me to read it, and as someone who grew up with no TV and therefore no video games, I thought it was going to be a waste of time.
