When I returned home back in December THIS was the book everyone seemed to be talking about....and as I NEED a long book to fall into, I eagerly downloaded it. Ho hum. It was not that thrilling. I am not even sure I will bother to read the next in the series.

This book reads like a historical Harliquin romance on steroids. Not impressed.
I don't normally like period books, but very interesting.
