I’ve known many a teenage boy who could have been Holden Caulfield and I applaud the author for creating such a believable character. I think perhaps this is one that I need to go back and reread as an adult.
I think this may be a love-it-or-hate-it book. I read it about twenty years ago and hated it, but I keep thinking I ought to read it again.
