This is a beautiful little book. The third in a quartet, it brings together the first two books, which I was so glad because while I enjoyed the characters in each, I so wanted to know what happend to everyone. This is obviously an attack on a materialistic society and the simpleness of the message is perfect for middle school aged children. But the beautifulness of the characters, the sacrafice of the ending and the overall joyfulness of it is perfect for all ages.
