Eat, Pray, Love is an intricate, intimate and insightful account of a year spent between Italy, India and Indonesia. I've read several reviews of this book that accuse Gilbert of being overly self-indulgent. I'm of the disposition that a memoir is exactly the place to be self-indulgent. And I loved it.
