Eat, Pray, Love is an intricate, intimate and insightful account of a year spent between Italy, India and Indonesia. I've read several reviews of this book that accuse Gilbert of being overly self-indulgent. I'm of the disposition that a memoir is exactly the place to be self-indulgent. And I loved it.

I usually sit down and read a book through in at least two-three days. This book took me over a month to read, in small small portions. Was interesting.
