Want to know the answers to ridiculous things like how many Legos it would take to build a bridge from New York to London? Then pick up this book! Learned several things and have forgotten a few things already but that's okay - chances are I'll never need to know if it's safe to swim in a nuclear waste pool anyway.

I'm a fan of the web comic that Randall Munroe writes, XKCD, so was interested in this book. It was a fun read and very interesting. It does at times get overly technical for me and I skimmed those sections. But, I really liked the tone over all with the illustrations.
