How have I lived this long without knowing how much I love Jeffrey Eugenides? I just read The Marriage Plot a few months ago, based upon some good reviews, but had never read Middlesex, which won a Pulitzer. It's an amazing book -- Calliope/Cal is such a memorable character, and the Greek family saga rang true as well. Now I have to go back and read everything else Eugenides I can find. ...more
