Great little book! If my future children are readers, this is definitely one I'd like to set in front of them.
The main character, Stanley Yelnats, is wrongly accused of stealing a pair of sneakers. Overweight and bullied, Stanley is falsely accused of stealing a valuable pair of sneakers and sent to Camp Green Lake to build character. Upon arriving he descovers that there's no lake and nothing is green. His days are spent
