I'm going back and forth on my rating from 2-3 stars, but ultimately have to round down due to the writing style and some of the choices the author made in how things were written. The story, honestly wasn't that bad. I enjoy BDSM plots (although I'm coming from an outside perspective, so I have no idea if the representation is just or accurate.) But I swear E.L. I was hesitant to read this book because I had been warned about the quality of writing and also because it was being promoted as petty "mommy" porn. But when I saw it at the library and after seeing how people reacted to casting, I decided why not, at least if I get it from the library it's off no cost to me. In the end, I enjoyed it as a pure entertainment value book, those that you read as a guilty pleasure but don't take too seriously as masterpieces. The first 3 or so chapters were painful
