Not sure if I completely loved it but I thought there were so many important and great things going on here and I genuinely think more people should read this.

I would rate this book 10 stars if I could. This is a short book and I think I cried for at least 50% of it. Tears of sadness, pain, joy and hope. It's a rare book that makes you laugh and cry at the same time which makes it so unique. I was hesitant to read, because of rumblings about bad and/or inappropriate language. There's not a lot of male narrators in YA so its refreshing when I get to read a book my a male POV. However, he doesn't hold a lot back and there were stuff I didn't want to know but he said it anyway, but that's just how boys think. I live near Indian Reservations (I actually live a couple of hours away from the Spokane one mentioned in the book) and I realized I don't know anything about Indians, very eye opening.
