This was really, really fantastic. I listened to the audio version, and would highly recommend it. I have to confess, this story hits several of my nerd excitement buttons - an ancient dusty bookstore, a centuries-old puzzle, charming eccentrics, secret societies, cryptography, and of course BOOKS! Robin Sloan does a wonderful job of crafting his odd corner of the world in a way that feels possible.
