I read this book because I liked Fault in Our Stars and because they are going to be making a movie out of this and I wanted to read it first. Super disappointing.
I ended up skipping a large section of the book because I was invested enough to want to know how it ended, but, I didn't care how it got there, and just wanted it to be over faster.

I really liked John Green's style, but I had trouble liking the "mysterious" Margo. I didn't like her as a character or the main character's (Quentin) obsession with her. However, it was well-written, and the supporting characters Ben and Radar made up for the other two annoying, pretentious characters.

Thoughtful, funny, poignant. An entertaining look at whether we really know other people or just think we do. And when analyzing someone else, how much we reveal about ourselves. It is about growing up and learning to deal with the disappointment when someone doesn't match your idea of who they are or your ideal.
