What Members Thought
I was tricked by my kindle on this book because it said I was 58% done when in fact the book had finished. But, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I did really like it and couldn't put it down, but as I write in almost every YA series/trilogy review, I HATE it when authors end the book just clearly in the middle of the story.

Admittedly I picked up this book because it had a blurb from Divergent author Veronica Roth. It was different from Divergent in ways I didn't expect, good and bad. It took me longer to get into this one, but I did like where the story went. I'm interested in what the next story will be like.

I found Shadow and Bone to be a very good roller coaster ride. I really enjoyed the mountain scenes of the Russia like setting.
