A reread from my childhood for the Pop Sugar Challenge. I have many memories of Judy Blume’s being oks, this one was perfect for childhood me and I think it would still resonate with young women today. It will be interesting to see how the movie does…
It was interesting reading this book 52 years after it was published. I really don’t think I had ever read it, even though I was about Margaret’s age when it was published. The book remains one of the most challenged and banned books ( due to religious blasphemy, discussion of puberty and other such “ immoral topics”) despite also being a very popular book with many many accolades over the years.
