What Members Thought
This book has been on my radar since the 1970s and I'm so glad I finally got around to it. The audio version is delightful for a long drive. We follow the young veterinarian has he find his first job and learns to deal with the animals and the people in the Yorkshire Dales. The various stories are filled with warmth and humor.

A warm fuzzy read. I have lots of happy memories associated with this title...watching the PBS show with my family and wishing I could be a vet, too. These are wonderful stories about a real-life English veterinarian. Memorable characters, too. A classic.
