I was all ready to write my 2 star review of this book when then, in the last few chapters of the book, it went from 2 to 3 stars.
SPOILERS
First of all, there are just too many similarities to other YA fiction. If this is your first foray into YA fiction, this probably wouldn't concern you, because you wouldn't notice. I read reviews that said this was part Graceling, part Game of Thrones -- um, what? It is so similar to The Hunger Games it's scary -- all the way down to her having a nickname "L ...more

The ending OMG!!! Wow really good book can't wait to read the next one. Glad I already acquired it.

I was a bit skeptical about reading this book, but I ended up really liking it. I did it as audiobook and it was so addicting! I just wanted to keep listening. I’m actually going to read the next book in the series!
Definite elements of all those other distopian YA series but I still enjoyed reading the book. Looking forward to see where the series goes from here.
